On the afternoon of June 26, 2026, a consultation and discussion activity for the 'CPPCC Member Discussion Room' on the clean energy industry, along with a democratic supervision and consultation symposium, was successfully held at Shandong Huading Weiyi Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Gao Junbo, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal CPPCC Party Group and Vice Chairman, attended the event. A total of 19 participants, including responsible persons from relevant committees of the Municipal CPPCC, CPPCC members, and representatives from experts in explosion-proof testing, chemical industry, and ecological protection, took part in the event.

Phase One Agenda: Learn from Cases to Uphold Bottom Lines, Strictly Control Explosion Prevention to Build Defenses

   The first phase of the event, themed "Learning from Cases to Uphold Bottom Lines, Strictly Controlling Explosions to Build a Defense Line," was hosted by Liu Shangwei, a member of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of Huading Weiye. 

Experts from the National Coal Mine Explosion-Proof Safety Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center and the National Explosion-Proof Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Tianjin) delivered online special reports, while Wanxiang Chemical's Chief Electrical Expert shared on-site experience in explosion-proof safety management for chemical enterprises.

Gao Junbo emphasized that explosion-proof safety is a bottom line and a red line. We should take lessons from past incidents, remain vigilant at all times, fully leverage the role of the "Committee Deliberation Room" platform, promote coordinated efforts among government, procuratorial organs, enterprises, and users, accelerate the application and promotion of new explosion-proof technologies, and strengthen the safety production defense with technological power.

Second Phase Agenda: Consultative Suggestions to Support Qinyueshan Nature Reserve in Striving for Excellence

   The second phase of the event was hosted by Zhang Zuling, Standing Committee Member of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee, and Director of the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau. It focused on democratic supervision and consultation regarding the special inspection report on "Accelerating Kunyu Mountain's Development into a National-Class First-Rate Nature Reserve." 

The meeting reported on the previous research and draft preparation, and attending members actively offered suggestions based on their professional expertise, putting forward several practical and feasible recommendations. 

Gao Junbo pointed out that Kunyu Mountain serves as an important ecological barrier for Yantai. To establish a first-class national nature reserve, it is essential to coordinate ecological conservation, cultural tourism development, cultural revitalization, science education, and rural revitalization. The Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will continue to monitor and advance the initiative, pool resources from all parties, and ensure effective implementation of the creation efforts.
