  On the afternoon of May 11th, Guo Jianguo, the Party Secretary of Shandong Technology and Business University, led a visit to Shandong Huading Weiyee Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Vice President Liu Bing and Du Shuguang, members of the Party Committee of the university, accompanied the visit. Liu Shangwei, the chairman of Huading Weiyee and a professor at the School of Information and Electrical Engineering of the university, and Zhao Zhenyang, the chairman of Dongyi Optoelectronics and a professor at the School of Information and Electrical Engineering of the university, warmly received them. In the corporate exhibition hall, Chairman Liu Shangwei provided a detailed introduction to Secretary Guo and his delegation regarding Huading Weiyi's development history, core business operations, differentiated development strategy, and cutting-edge R&D directions, comprehensively showcasing the company's innovative achievements in the fields of smart lighting, digital intelligence, and new materials.

During the discussion session, Secretary Guo Jianguo first introduced the school's strategic deployments in recent years regarding major optimization, talent introduction and cultivation, campus construction, and doctoral program development. He emphasized that the university adheres to the development philosophy of 'practical education, industry-education integration, and serving the local area', delves into applied-oriented education and connotative development, proactively aligns with national strategies and regional economic development needs, and fully promotes the organic connection between the education chain, talent chain, industrial chain, and innovation chain, which is highly consistent with the national development orientation of deepening industry-education integration.

Secretary Guo pointed out that industry-university cooperation should be practical, efficient, and value-oriented.
